Jobs run in passes for that reason. Load what is out, then go back for the next armful.

Getting a trailer in

Very compact mill-village lots. Most loads come out to the street, and on the tightest blocks the trailer can only stand for so long before it is in somebody's way, so the work gets timed around that.
