Manny's Demolition & Junk Removal

Trash Removal and Regular Pickup

Bagged household trash hauled off when it gets ahead of you, as often as you need it gone.

What this covers

  • bagged household garbage
  • repeat pickups, as often as the property needs them
  • overflow the curbside bin won't take
  • rentals and small businesses between tenants or after a busy week
  • trash left in a yard, a shed or a back lot

Not part of this job

We don't handle paint, solvents, propane tanks or medical waste, so keep those out of the bags and we'll point you to where they go.

What this job is actually like

Most of what we do happens once. You clear the garage, the garage is clear, and nobody needs us again for three years. Trash is the one that comes back. That changes what actually matters about it. The volume on any single visit is small, a few bags, a couple of cans, maybe a bin the tenants overfilled again, and pricing it the way a one-time pickup gets priced makes no sense for either side. What matters is the arrangement: how often, roughly how much, and where it sits when we get there. Settle those three once and nobody has to make a phone call about garbage again. The other thing about trash is that it doesn't wait for you. A cleanout can slip a week without consequence. Bagged garbage in a Georgia summer cannot. Heat, animals and rain all get to work on it, and a bag that has been sitting since Tuesday is heavier, worse to handle and far more likely to split on the way to the trailer than the same bag would have been on the day it went out. Most of this job is just turning up when we said we would.

Worth sorting out before the day

  • Bag it before we get there if you can. Anything loose has to be bagged on site before it moves, and that time is part of the job.
  • Say how often you want us, not just how much there is right now. A standing run prices differently than a one-time pickup.
  • Say if any of it has been sitting a while. Bags that have been out in the heat, or that animals have been into, get double bagged before they go anywhere near the trailer.
  • Point us at all of it, not just what made it to the curb. The bags behind the shed and the ones stacked in the back of the garage are the ones that get forgotten on the call.

How the job runs

Tell us roughly how much comes out and how often, and we work to it. Bagged and sitting at the curb is the quickest version of this. Anything that isn't bagged yet, we bag.

What moves the price

  • how many bags or cans, and how often
  • weight, because bagged garbage is denser than it looks
  • whether it's bagged already or has to be bagged on site
  • how far out of Rome the stop is

Common questions

Can you come back regularly?

Yes. Plenty of properties have us back on a rhythm, whether that's after every turnover or whenever the bin stops coping. Tell us roughly how often and we'll work to it. Your county or city curbside collection is a separate service, and this sits alongside it rather than replacing it.

What if the amount changes week to week?

That's normal, and it's especially normal on rentals and job sites. Tell us the usual and we work to it. If a week runs heavy, say so when we're due and it goes on the same visit. Nobody is counting bags against you. What we'd rather avoid is turning up for four bags and finding a sofa nobody mentioned, because that's a different trailer and a different morning.

Is there a limit on how much you'll take at once?

Not really. A trailer holds a great deal more than a household produces in a week, so for ordinary trash the answer is no. What does exist is a weight limit rather than a bag count, and bagged garbage is denser than it looks, so a month's worth stacked in a shed adds up faster than people expect. If it's been building for a while, say so when you book and the right trailer turns up the first time.

Where this is available

We cover trash removal across the whole service area, from Floyd County out to about fifty miles. How quickly we can get to you depends mostly on the distance, so the closer towns tend to be same-day or next-day and the far edge gets scheduled.
